Bot's Staff Application
In-game name: Bot+
-
In-game rank: AdvBuilder
Age and country: [PRIVATE AGE] I live in the UK, England.
-
How many hours you've played so far?: 2 hours <-- (this will probably get my application declined.)
-
Rank applying for and why?: Operator; I am applying for this rank because I am confident and active to be staff on this server, as I also enjoy freebuilds and always willing patrolling the server as staff.
-
Good points about yourself: I am active, and I have a good temper, which can help in solving problems and dealing with troublemakers.
-
Less good points about yourself: I sometimes break rules by accident and sometimes can't deal with too many people at once; this might mean I cannot adapt to new things in the server that well.
-
If the person is a higher rank then you, but he is not respecting the rules, what do you do?: I would confront the higher rank, telling them not to do so and maybe giving out a verbal warning out, too (verbal warning, as in not using /warn?)
If that isn't possible, I can tell any higher ranks who are active and awake, such as Joseph+.
-
If a person is not listening to the rules what are you going to do?
- Griefer/blockspammer: I would warn the griefer/blockspammer with only two warnings, as this is the worst of rulebreaking.
Then, I undo their actions to get everything under control.
- Spammer: I would warn the spammer and temporarily mute them, telling them to stop spamming.
Continuously spamming can cause them to be kicked.
- Advertising: Like dealing with spammers, I can instantly mute them, as it would drive away players from the server. Nobody wants that to happen!
- Not respective to others: I will warn the player and tell them to respect them, as the 'victim' might be new or they are a higher rank than them, which could possibly stop them. Continuing would get them muted, again.
- Inappropriate stuff: Same as griefer/blockspammers, I can undo their actions and kick them if they continue further.
- Abusing: I will talk to a higher rank to demote the abusing person, or just ban them entirely, depending on which commands they are abusing.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: I strive to be an excellent staff member, always willing to do the right thing and helping out others.
Although this might not be about the server, I am also Filipino and sometimes have to go outside, or just go to different servers.
-
Are there any people who said something like this? (You should make an application now)
If so.. Who?: Not really sure?
